Opening Times

***From Monday the 12th of March our Portslade County Clinic site will be closing for lunch between 1pm and 2pm. This is to help relieve some of the pressures on our reception team who have experienced long term vacancies and long term sickness. Our phone lines will still be open during this time if you need to speak to one of our receptionists.***

Extended Hours

If you are unable to attend appointments during a normal working day, we offer an extended hours service and we are currently working with 3 other local surgeries to provide pre booked appointments outside normal working hours. These are the times of the service:

6pm - 8pm Monday - Friday
8am - 2pm - Saturday

10am - 1pm - Sunday (this will be city wide and not necessarily at Benfield or Mile Oak)

This service is rotated between Benfield Valley Healthcare Hub and Mile Oak Medical Centre on a 3 monthly basis. Please contact the surgery for more information.

By March 2019 everyone in England will benefit from access to general practice appointments in the evenings and weekends at a time that is most convenient to them. This is part of a national drive to help improve access to general practice and get the best possible outcomes for patients. Further information is available at www.england.nhs.uk/gpaccess
